Since You Asked Our Advice....
Rachel and I are so excited to be launching our very own advice column after much encouragement from family and friends! Our first entry was sent to us by a good friend...who shall of course remain nameless. We hope we can help. Please remember, we are not professionals and our advice is strictly our personal opinions!
Sincerely,
Two Crazy Moms
Dear Two Crazy Moms,
I have recently become aware of the fact that I am a shopaholic. I am constantly shopping...everyday. I hide things in the trunk of my car and in my closet. I havent racked up any credit card debt but I spend all of our extra cash. My question is...Should I tell my husband about my spending and how do I stop?
Sincerely,
Stressed Out Shop-a-holic

Dear Stressed Out,
I totally feel for you. As I know that "retail therapy" does help in many ways. The 1st thing you need to do is stop hiding your purchases. Bring them in and let your husband see them and if he doesnt complain or make comment then there is no need for a discussion. There's nothing worse than a guilty concscience. Try to limit your spending for special occasions. Birthday's, outings, Christmas, etc. Write it on the calendar and give yourself shopping days to look forward to.
Sincerely,
Fellow Shopper Christina
Rachel says:
Dear Stressed Out,
I can also relate, as I am a shopper myself. I'm not going to lie to you, I hide many a bag on a weekly basis. I think it's fine as long as you arent aquiring credit card debt or spending extra money that could or needs to be spent on more important things.
Just my honest opinion!
Sincerely,
Rachel
